While sorting out the vines of my morning glories one day, I noticed how some of the vines would be twisted together, pretty much one strangling the other out to keep growing and climbing. As I attempted new growth patterns and unravelled the mess I drew some parallels between this and people.
It made me think of relationships and how sometimes people can be so involved with one another that they begin to choke the other person out. The relationship starts off on good footing and in the end ends up being suffocating to the people involved.
Quite frankly my flowers would have continued to grow and flourish on their own- with all the hidden entanglement under their leaves-without my attempt at organized disarray. I suppose the same goes for people, they’ll either entangle or untangle when the time proves there is nothing to be gained from either party. There is no need for outside help for this happen.
